Rossana Bribò is official Kolberg Newcomer

Rossana Bribò began her formal percussion studies at the age of 10 at the Niccolò Paganini Conservatory in Genoa, Italy, with Maurizio Benoma. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree with Prof. Marco Campioni. From 2014 to 2016, she also attended the Conservatory of Nice, France, where she studied percussion with Régis Famelart. 


Her artistic work is inspired and shaped by numerous master classes with the most renowned percussionists of our time such as Alexej Gerrassimez, David Friedman, Andrea Dulbecco, Kai Strobel, Boum percussion, Riccardo Balbinutti, Biagio Zoli, Mark Glentworth, Garrett Mendelow, Tony Miceli, Frédéric Macarez, Simone Rubino, Philippe Biclot, Nick Woud, Emmanuel Séjourné, Alexey Chizik, Ruud Wiener, Jerry Tachoir, Marinus Komst and Markus Leoson. 


In 2019, she won first prize as a vibraphonist at the International Italy PAS Competition. Rossana Bribò was also awarded by the Liguria Region during the "Night of Talents" for her outstanding achievements during her studies. In 2021 she gave a master class together with Jeremy Friedman.


Both as a soloist and in an ensemble or orchestra, she performs regularly throughout Europe. One of the most formative concerts was a solo percussion concert at the Fondazione Feltrinelli in Milan, "Corpi Idrici" by Matteo Manzitti (2021).


Rossana Bribò has been a Newcomer Artist of the German company Kolberg Percussion since 2022.
