Conductor's music stand "Monaco" (4551) with high base for standing in front of a platform.

The conductor's music stand "Monaco" was newly developed in cooperation with the Bayerische Staatsoper München. Especially the tight space conditions in the orchestra pit were considered. The new music stand desk is extra flat for better visual contact between the conductor and the first row of strings sitting close to the conductor's music stand. In addition, it offers the conductor great freedom to operate and individual light adjustment.

Light technology and illumination

The upper part of the music stand is equipped with LED technology. For glare-free work on the desk, the three LED light components can be adjusted steplessly in inclination. The front wide LED light component is also adjustable in depth. A flexibly adjustable glare protection on the right and left of the desk prevents possible light reflections on the musicians.

If small score sheets are being used, the white sheet music surface can be covered with a reversible felt mat (black/anthracite), to prevent unpleasant light reflections affecting the conductor and the audience in the gallery. The dimmable conductor's music stand is connected directly to the 230 V mains supply so that it can be regulated independently of the lighting circuit of the orchestra music stands (e.g. lighting for the conductor in spite of blackout in the orchestra).

The music stand base features a central, fluid height-adjustment mechanism equipped with a height scale for better orientation. The use of multi-ply beech wood instead of metal reduces heat conduction on the desk considerably.
