Classic timpani mallets with hard felt disc and hornbeam shaft or common beech shaft. A coloured tension nut fixes the disc and marks its hardness level. Mallets with hard felt discs have a very succinct sound. Due to the 3 head sizes there is a fine differentiation in hardness and volume. The Power-variant has more sound volume than the "Classic"-series due to its larger head and heavier, longer shaft.
