Kolberg mokushos or mokubios are modelled after the original Japanese wood blocks. The round, compact instruments have a bright, very sharp and assertive sound.
The original Japanese ritual instruments were only available in individual sizes so far. For the first time worldwide Kolberg Percussion can now present mokushos in a chromatic range c3 - a4 (C6-A7).

Features
The Kolberg mokushos have rubber buffers on the underside and additional location holes for plug-in, fitting the Kolberg combination stand system Ø 10 mm (e.g. 260, 261, 262, 263, 265). They can thus be played freely and without interfering side noises.
