Lightning, thunder and cloudbursts - these are the essential elements of a thunderstorm. But to dote the frighteningly beautiful natural spectacle with perfection, something else is missing: the wind. As orchestral literature demonstrates, composers have implemented thunderstorm phenomena in a great variety of ways on a large scale and have preferred the use of percussion instruments for this purpose. They recognised its diverse sound spectrum, which ideally imitates natural sounds.
Description
By means of a special covering and an innovative spacer between the shell and the tension cloth, this wind machine can be used to implement dynamic grading without
having to change the rotational speed. Depending on the position of the spacer, the tension cloth lies more or less on the shell. From piano to the triple fortissimo - from the quiet wind to the violent hurricane, the whole range of wind forces can be created.

- A foot on the stand is extendable for more stability when turning
- The detachable crank handle can be inserted into the wind machine at rest - saving space during storage and transport
